National Eucharistic Pilgrimage, June 7-8

You are invited to join us on an all-inclusive trip to New Orleans June 7-8th to participate in the Eucharistic Procession beginning on the steps of Notre Dame Seminary and proceeding to St. Rita’s Church. This is a part of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage Southern route which processes across Louisiana throughout the week of June 4th.

The Diocese of Alexandria has arranged for a group trip by bus to New Orleans for this event on June 7-8th. The bus will depart on Friday, June 7th from the St. Joseph Catholic Center, located at 4400 Coliseum Blvd in Alexandria. We will stop on the way for an early dinner together, then arrive at Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans for activities associated with the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage. Afterwards, we will return to the Courtyard Marriot where we will enjoy a Wine and Cheese Social and overnight stay.

On Saturday, June 8th, we will begin the day with breakfast at the hotel before departing for the National Votive Shrine of Our Lady of Prompt Succor. There we will have the opportunity to tour the National Shrine, followed by celebrating Mass with Bishop Robert Marshall. After Mass, we will begin the journey home to Alexandria, with lunch provided along the way.
